Rancho Blanco was recently featured in Sinsay Dine, the video series of Luis Bakery of Cuenca, Batangas. The episode was hosted by Mamay Leo, who visited our estate in Barangay Balete, Batangas City, and was personally welcomed by our owner, Mr. Bart Blanco.

In Batangas, "sinsay dine" is how we invite someone to stop by, and "Mamay" is what we call a grandfather or a respected elder. Both expressions carry the hospitality our province is known for, which is why the feature meant so much to us. It was not only a visit to a resort. It was one Batangueño calling on another.

Mamay Leo and Mr. Blanco walked the grounds together, across the lawns, among the date palms, and past the flower arches of the garden walkway. For our family it was a proud moment. Rancho Blanco began as a dates farm, and to show what it has become to a fellow Batangueño, for an audience of fellow Batangueños, felt very much like welcoming family home.

Luis Bakery shared the episode with an invitation written the way we speak it here: "#SinsayDine sa Rancho Blanco Recreation & Resort, dine laang sa Balete, Batangas City. Ay, ang Mamay Leo nakagala na riyan, ay ikaw kailan?" Stop by Rancho Blanco, it is right here in Balete. Mamay Leo has already been. When will you come?

The episode has since been viewed more than 70,000 times. Behind that number are people from Batangas and beyond who may be seeing our home for the first time, and we are grateful for the introduction. Features like this matter a great deal to a local destination. They are how neighbors support one another, and how a place becomes known for what it truly is.

To Mamay Leo, maraming salamat po for visiting us and for speaking about Rancho Blanco with such warmth. To the team behind Luis Bakery and Sinsay Dine, thank you for including us in your series and for championing the places and people of Batangas. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back. You may watch the episode on Luis Bakery's Facebook page.
